Man, so FromSoftware just threw out this new update for Elden Ring Nightreign, right? And it’s like, right after this hour of server sadness where everything was offline. Anyway, this update’s small — really tiny, just bug fixes.
Okay, so we’re looking at Patch 1.01.5 now. It’s been exactly two weeks since 1.01.4. Not that I’m counting or anything, but these point-whatever updates are rolling in one after the other, like clockwork.
The changes? Barely anything. Just two tweaks. But they’re about Everdark Sovereign bosses. Heard of those? Tougher versions of Nightlord bosses. Only for the brave souls who’ve already smacked down the originals.
On their blog — why am I always stuck reading those? — they mentioned a fix for a glitch with the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest. Apparently, it got all stuck during fights. I mean, can you imagine? Like, mid-battle, and boom, it’s frozen? Frustration levels: max.
And oh, another thing — the Sentient Pest sometimes had this weird habit of popping up outside its arena. Like, “Oh hey, didn’t see you there,” kinda awkward, you know? But yeah, fixed that too.
A neat pic in there showed the Sentient Pest calling down light or something. Looked intense, for sure.
So, that’s all for 1.01.5. Short and sweet. Sort of. But these bosses, there’s more. Like the Everdark Sovereign Gaping Jaw and Darkdrift Knight. They switch up by the week. Gaping Jaw’s hanging with Darkdrift Knight now, but they’ll step aside for Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight from July 17-24. Then it’s Gaping Jaw and Sentient Pest’s turn from July 24-31. Confusing? Yeah, kinda.
FromSoftware’s also cooking up Everdark Sovereign versions of Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog. They’ll be joining the chaos soon. If you’re diving deep or just lost in their world, they’ve got guides for everything — characters, maps, bosses. You name it.
