Okay, so here’s the thing. Bow Course. Yeah, it’s mixing golf and archery. Who’d have thought, right? You’re not just golfing—you’re shooting arrows. Insane? Maybe. Fun? Definitely. This brainchild of Korpi Games (you might know them from Virtual Hunter) just hit the scene on PC VR in early access. Don’t ask me why, but the idea really stuck with me.
So, they initially dropped it on Quest back in May. You can play solo or buddy up in multiplayer. Two courses, nine targets each, trying your best to not show off. It’s all about skill, precision, and maybe a bit of luck—or at least for me. Fewer shots, more bragging rights. Just like real golf, but you might look cooler doing it.
Anyway, Korpi says they’ve got the main stuff up and running already—different maps, some wild routes to discover, and difficulty levels that you can tweak. Oh, and there’s a shooting range in the hub. Handy, right? Something about having more features and achievements in the full release— whenever that happens. “A few months,” they say, which could mean anything.
Right now, you can dive in on Quest or Steam, and yes, they’ve got cross-platform multiplayer. So you can challenge your friend who’s on a different system and maybe lose. Or win. Who knows? When they finally drop the full release, expect a slight price hike. Sneaky, but understandable.
And that’s it. Go try it if it sounds like your kind of chaos. Or not. No pressure.
