Wow, so Konami’s still got some cards up its sleeve after all that Summer Game Fest chaos. They’re gearing up for this thing called Konami Press Start. Weird name, right? Sounds like an old arcade machine or something. Anyway, it’s supposed to drop some juicy bits on stuff like the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake and whatever’s next for Silent Hill.
Oh, and don’t sleep on this: it’s going live on June 12. That’s like, what, Monday? Early birds, get ready for that 9 a.m. EDT/6 a.m. PDT kickoff. Me, I’ll probably need extra coffee. You can catch it on Konami’s YouTube — if that’s your scene.
Apparently, the whole shindig will run for 37 minutes. Why not 40 or 30 minutes? Who knows. They’ll be chatting about Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (which — side note — sounds intense) and Silent Hill f. But it seems there’s more on the docket: whispers about Gradius Origins collection, maybe some news on the next Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection, and could we finally get a peep at DLC for Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake? I mean, fingers crossed, right?
Anyway, Konami’s keeping it unpredictable — or maybe I’m just easily surprised. Either way, seems worth a watch if you’re into their stuff.
