Sure thing, let’s give this a whirl!

Okay, so here’s the scoop. Sony finally dropped some news on when we can see more of “Ghost of Yotei.” I mean, they’ve been teasing us since — what was it? — early summer? Anyway, they threw out this teaser trailer, just enough to get us all hyped up, right? And then they went all radio silent. Typical.
Fast forward to now — mid-July. And folks, we’re getting another peek at it. Not that I’m counting days or anything. (Okay, maybe I am.)
So here’s the deal: they’re doing a State of Play just for “Ghost of Yotei” this week. Thursday, July 10th, to be specific. It’s one of those 20-minute deep dives, not just some quick flash on screen. And man, I hope it’s worth the watch – we get a look at the game’s ins and outs. Systems, mechanics, and all that jazz.
Jason Connell and Nate Fox from Sucker Punch are hosting – ever notice how those guys make it sound like the most epic adventure ever? They’re diving into the narrative, like Atsu’s whole quest thing and her new gadgets. Personalization is on the menu too, they say. Customize till you drop!
They even hinted at new modes. Remember Legends from “Ghost of Tsushima”? Maybe something evolution-y there? Or like Kurosawa-movie style from the first game? Maybe it’ll be a total curveball. Who even knows?
Catch it all live: 2pm PT, 5pm ET, 10pm BST, or 11pm CEST on the PlayStation Twitch and YouTube. (Does anyone actually use CEST time? Just me?) Anyway, grab popcorn.
Oh, and mark your calendars or scribble it on the fridge or something – October 2nd is go time for PS5. Get ready, gamers!
