So, Warframe has this new thing out called Isleweaver. Just dropped for PC and consoles. It’s part of Update 39 — like, not that anyone keeps track of these numbers, but hey. Bringing players back to Duviri (a place that apparently everyone loves?), with some fresh story stuff, a special Warframe Operation that’s only around for a bit, and other game tweaks.
Now, Warframe isn’t new to this whole expansion thing. They’ve tossed out 20 of them in, like, a dozen years. Their first biggie for 2025 came out in March — something called Techrot Encore. Fancy names, right?
Anyway, back to Isleweaver — oh, wait, did I mention it rolled out June 25? Yeah, so you step into the floating lands of Duviri, again. Operation: Eight Claw is the centerpiece here. It’s a timed event, running till July 16. That’s where you, the player, get to smack around Major Neci Rusalka and her Murmur horde. Ends with a showdown against this spider-like Warframe named Oraxia. Intense stuff, honestly.
Speaking of Oraxia, she’s a new playable character — makes it 61 now. Guess it sounds like a lot? She’s all about hunting and poisons. You can snag her and her weapons, like the Spinnerex whip and some heavy scythe blueprint thingy, through the Isleweaver loot system. Oh, and there’s this new Murmur enemy, The Unseeing Herald. They drop Temporal Dust, which sounds cooler than it probably is. Important for crafting Oraxia, though.
Oh, and not to skip the onboarding bit — Isleweaver’s got some tweaks for new players. Junction missions? Yeah, they’re easier now. Plus, the rewards are clearer, which is a relief. There’s more transparency about what you’re actually playing for. Bug fixes, too. They started this change-up back with the Yareli Prime update in May 2025.
Some other bits? Valkyr’s abilities got a makeover, new Warframe Augment Mods, and those quality-of-life upgrades — just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? The Operation: Eight Claw stuff hangs around till July 23 for claiming rewards. So, you’re not totally out if you take your time. But, the resources and boss fights? They’re sticking around past that. Might mean more adventures in Duviri later on.
A couple of highlights, just so we’re clear: Isleweaver is this new floating isle called Scholar’s Landing. You’re fighting Murmur forces and Oraxia there, in some Spiral mission deal. There’s also some big Valkyr change — new Hysteria mechanics, if that’s your thing. And a bunch more, like Augments for other characters, a whole Junction revamp for beginners, and improved quest flow. Even Captain Vor gets a rework. Who knew?
In the grand scheme? Yeah, performance tweaks, bug crushes, cosmetics galore — like that Citrine Aphrodita Collection. More skins, bundles, and even, oddly enough, a hair pack. So, yeah, Isleweaver is here, and it’s doing its Warframe thing, messy and chaotic as ever.
