Alright, so where do I even start? Those rumors about the Switch 2 Pro? Yeah, let’s just put those on the back burner for a bit. Maybe for, like, the next Olympic Games? I have no idea why I’m thinking of those events, but there it is.
It seems like everyone’s either freaking out about tariffs or just dying for another Mario Kart. Who isn’t, right? The Switch 2 is practically flying off the shelves. And by flying, I mean Nintendo just confirmed it sold more than 3.5 million units in the first four days. That’s a huge number! For reference, the original Switch, or Switch 1 if you want to call it that, managed 2.74 million in its first month. Yeah, that’s right, a whole month. March 3 to 31, 2017, to be exact.
Regional sales details? Those should pop up when Nintendo drops their financial report for Q1. That’s sometime around late July or maybe early August. Who knows exactly when – they like to keep us guessing.
Anyway — wait, was I saying something else before? These numbers are wild, right?
