So, I just stumbled upon this latest MotoGP game. You know, the one they keep churning out year after year. Anyway, MotoGP 25 is here, and it’s packed with all the 2025 rosters. Sounds fancy, right? Trust me, it’s a whole thing. Why do they make these like clockwork? But I digress.
Okay, so here’s the jazz: We’ve got this new Arcade Mode. Basically, anyone can jump in without smashing the bike every five seconds. But if you’re an OG biker, there’s Pro Mode—hardcore stuff where every slip-up costs you big time. Oh man, does it ever.
And boom, they moved to Unreal Engine 5. Honestly, the graphics are like whoa, and the sound? It’s like a concert, but with roaring engines. And they’ve got all the rosters: MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and even MotoE. Oh, and commentary—like actual people talking. Wild.
Options, man. They’re everywhere. There’s Gran Prix Mode where you can fiddle with your race weekend, and Time Attack Mode, racing against the clock. It’s sort of intense.
But the heart of this beast is Career Mode. This is where you pick your path. Go from Moto3 to whatever, and see if you can snag a sweet contract. Ever thought about being a bit of a troublemaker? Maybe bump into a rival. Who doesn’t love a good rival, right? Anyway—wait, where was I? Oh yeah, reputation shapes what kind of racer you become. Chatting with your team is a thing too, gotta make those bikes better.
Then there’s Race Off Mode for when you’re not in the main grind. It’s like practice, but not really. Different bikes, two locations, four tracks—Minibikes, Motard, and Flat Track stuff.
Now about controls! You steer with the left stick, slam the R2 for speed and L2 for brakes. X for rear brakes, ’cause why not? I find it kinda cool to look around with the right stick. Just me? Maybe.
Also, trophy hunters alert—here’s a list that’s miles long. Seriously, there’s a ton to grab. Some are easy peasy, like finishing a lap during the tutorial, and others are way out there, like winning a race in all these different places. You’ll be busy, no joke.
And yeah, there’s online play. But guess what? You need that PlayStation Plus, obviously. Cash grab much? Though, Cross-Play is a nice touch. MotoGP 25 is on for $59.99, PlayStation 4 version included, same deal. That’s about it.
Heads up, this MotoGP 25 review came from a PlayStation 5 copy Milestone handed over.
