The PlayStation Store just got a fresh update on the PS5. Totally needed, right? Sony kind of messed up the PlayStation Visa card points, so this is a nice change. Now you can use Apple Pay and Cash App. They used to be only on the PS App, but now they’re on the console too. Yay for progress.
So, Apple Pay… it comes with this 2% cashback if you’ve got the Apple Card. Sweet deal, huh? But wait—it’s not as easy-peasy as it sounds. You gotta scan a code with your iPhone or iPad, and then fiddle around with Face ID or Touch ID. Maybe this is supposed to be fun? Or frustrating. Anyway.
Some folks might’ve hoped for a quick tap and buy, but looks like it’s not happening. Yet, with game prices climbing, that cashback might be worth the trouble. At least it sounds like it.
Oh, and before I forget, this update’s just chilling on the PS5 for now. PS4 folks don’t have it yet. Why? No clue. Feels like they’re missing out, but maybe it’s coming soon. Who knows…
