Sure thing! Here’s my take on it:

Okay, so I stumbled on this video by Zack Nelson, the dude behind JerryRigEverything. He decided to take apart the Nintendo Switch 2. Now, I don’t usually watch teardown videos — like, who really tears apart their gadgets at home unless you’ve got nothing better to do? But this one was kinda cool.
Anyway, Zack pretty much ripped the thing open, and turns out most of the bits inside are super modular. You know, like those tiny Joy-Con 2 sticks and even the headphone jack? I mean, who knew they were pieced together like a Lego set?
There’s some chatter about how fixing this new Switch might blow a hole in your wallet. Parts are pricey, I guess. But Zack was like, nah, it’s easy-peasy. You just need one of those Phillips screwdrivers — and this weird tri-point one. Sounds like the console puzzle is not too tough to crack open.
But then — here’s the bummer, right? The batteries are glued down this time. I remember the old Switch was easier on that front. You gotta douse it in alcohol and use some elbow grease to get them out now. Seems they really didn’t want us messing around there.
And oh, the game card slot and USB-C port? Not modular. So, if you mess those up, poof! You’re looking at swapping the whole motherboard unless you’ve got soldering skills. Expensive fiasco if you ask me. Totally not the DIY adventure I’d sign up for — but some folks might dig that challenge.
Zack also did something kinda nuts — he peeled off the screen protector. Apparently, it’s supposed to stop the screen from shattering like car glass. Whatever magic science is behind that. Anyway, he actually whacked the screen with plumbing pliers. Yes, for real! It took, like, 50 hits before it finally cracked. Talk about tough love, huh?
Even after the screen turned into a spider-webbed mess, a quick restart got the console up and running again. Though, playing games with shards sticking out? Not my idea of fun gaming — unless you’re into danger sports or something! Remember though, you break it, you buy it. The warranty won’t save you if you start treating your gadgets like a stress ball.
So, I guess Nintendo made sure it can handle a few accidental drops. Just, maybe don’t make a habit of tossing it down the stairs for kicks. Oh, and if you wanna keep tabs on fun tech stuff, hit that follow button on Tom’s Hardware for all their latest scoops.
That’s my quirky take on it — messy but hey, who needs perfect?
