Alright, so there’s this game, Everdream Valley — I think? Yeah, that’s it. Anyway, it’s one of those farming games, but guess what? It’s coming to VR next week on Quest. And I’m kinda excited — I mean, who wouldn’t wanna run around a farm in VR, right?
So, this isn’t just some solo gig. It’s a whole collab effort with Mooneaters, Ovid Works, and Pixel Gaze. Everdream Valley VR is taking the regular screen version from 2023 and tossing it into VR on Quest devices — 2, Pro, 3, and 3S. Oh, and you get to play as this kid, chilling at your grandparents’ farm. Somehow, you end up in this routine with animals — like, a lot of animals. It’s about the farm life and all.
Wait, I should probably mention the trailer. Yeah, there’s a trailer. Kinda cool.
Your day-to-day in Everdream Valley VR is packed. Like, first, you make buddies with all sorts of critters — cats, chickens, ducks, cows. Then you’ve got the whole planting, fishing, cooking-your-own-meals thing going on. Building stuff too, just for kicks.
Honestly, there’ve been a few farming simulators in VR before. Most have that goofy vibe, you know? Except for Farming Simulator VR — that one’s serious business. And then there’s older stuff like Neat Corporation’s Garden of the Sea or Across The Valley — artsy stuff.
Anyway, umm — so this? Everdream Valley VR — it’s dropping on the Meta Quest on May 15. Can’t wait to see what that’s all about.
