You know what the G stands for. Honestly, I’m not even sure myself. But hey, let’s just roll with it.
So here we are, wading through an inbox so cluttered you’d think it was my closet on a lazy Sunday. James is taking a breather this week — finally, right? Ha! Jon’s in charge now, which should mean conversations that are a little less… unfocused, maybe? If you squint hard enough. Or not. I don’t know.
Anyway — wait, no, I was talking about Jon’s escapade with GameStop. Quite the journey, I’ll tell you! We’ve been dabbling with Pro Memberships like it’s going out of style. And then there’s all this chatter about what old games could use a glow-up on the new Switch 2. Kind of like trying to give your old jeans a new life. Who am I kidding, though — I love those jeans.
Then there’s F-Zero GX. Sounds punishing, doesn’t it? Kind of like having a late-night cheese craving without any cheese in the fridge. Seriously, will Nintendo throw us a bone with new stuff for virtual consoles? And speaking of bones — Princess Peach. What could we do to shake things up with her game or the whole series? Maybe give her a laser blaster or something — or not. I mean, what do I know?
One last thing: Git Gud should be Git Gui’d! Learn the tracks, scrub! It’s like trying to parallel park in front of a café, and everyone’s watching from the windows. Talk about pressure.
Shoutout to Guillaume Veillette for editing this — might’ve needed more coffee than editing skills, honestly. And props to Perry Burkum for the “Men of Leisure” theme song, which totally sounds like my playlist when I’m pretending to work. Check out Perry’s stuff on SoundCloud. The logo’s by Connor Strickland — no idea what he’s up to now, but I bet it’s something interesting!
And the episode’s goodbye tune? “Birdman” from Pilotwings 64, picked by Greg. Nintendo’s got all the rights and whatnot, so don’t get any ideas, okay?
