Alright, so there’s this game, "Doom: The Dark Ages," and in Chapter 5, which has this grandiose title “The Holy City of Aratum”—it kinda sounds like something out of a Tolkien tale, right? Anyway, you gotta find these, uh, secret landing pads or whatever for your cyber-demon-dragon thing. Super casual. No biggie.
Honestly, you don’t have to do these challenges. Could skip them entirely. But, like, why would you? They throw some neat stuff at you, like gold, and skins for your weapons. Even rubies! I mean, who wouldn’t want rubies?
So, where was I? Oh yeah, let’s get to this guide. It’s kinda like an impromptu travel log for a mythical land.
Landing Spot #1:
So, right when you kick off Chapter 5, there’s this tutorial. Basic flying the dragon stuff. After you get that sorted, move toward the city. Now, picture a small tower to your left, guarded by this Titan dude. Flashbacks to the tutorial Titans, right? Apparently, you’ve gotta dodge some evil shots to power up your fancy gun and take it down. Simple. Defeat the Titan, and voila, a green arrow pops up. Nice touch.
Landing there? Be ready. Demons appear like they own the place, and there’s a leader you have to smack down. Win this skirmish, and you get a health upgrade. Which, let’s be real, sounds like adrenaline sugar, doesn’t it?
Done here? Back to your dragon, ‘cause Spot #2 awaits.
Landing Spot #2:
Now, this one sounds dramatic. You’re heading to the center of the city. Going down to the very depths, channeling your inner miner. When you’re at the bottom, there’s this round area with three pillars. Two of these are manned by more Titans. They think they’re so tough, I guess. Just try to handle them one at a time. No need to juggle fireballs, right?
When they’re defeated, you get another green arrow. Nice and shiny in the middle. Seriously, poke around here because, trust me, there’s a ruby and some Nightmare skin lurking in the shadows.
And that’s it! Not that you need a reason to explore mystical cities or anything. Just some casual dragon riding and demon slaying. Classic weekend adventure.
