As the week winds down, it’s time to check out the fresh batch of games hitting the Nintendo Switch eShop. Leading the charge this week is the Suikoden I&II Remaster, arriving just in time for some MAR10 festivities. Let’s dive in and see what’s happening!

The standout release is undoubtedly the remastered editions of Suikoden I&II. These iconic RPGs from Konami first made their mark back in 1995 on several platforms but have never graced a Nintendo system—until now. This remaster features revamped HD graphics and new support features, allowing old fans and new players alike to enjoy this timeless series on the Nintendo Switch. It’s the perfect opportunity for anyone who missed the originals or wants to relive the adventures with a new coat of paint.

Speaking of March excitement, Mario Day is fast approaching! In case you didn’t catch it, MAR10 sounds quite like “Mario,” making March 10 a day dedicated to celebrating everyone’s favorite plumber. Nintendo is rolling out the party red carpet with enticing discounts on Mario games such as Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Super Mario RPG. Imagine snagging these classics at 30% off—quite the deal, considering how rare it is for first-party titles! Can you spot any Mario games missing from your collection? Now might be the best time to fill those gaps. Plus, don’t forget, you still have until the end of the month to rack up those My Nintendo Points.

For those keeping up with Nintendo’s music landscape, you’ll find a notable addition this week—the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is now available on Nintendo’s music-streaming app. It’s a great moment to revisit the classic SNES sounds. And don’t worry, we’ll be sure to give it a nod in our next Pure Nintendo Podcast episode.

There’s a plethora of new titles to explore this week, so make sure you check out the complete list below. Which games will be your weekend companions?

Nintendo Switch Highlights

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars – The beloved RPG franchise returns with remastered versions of Suikoden I and II! Assemble your team from 108 potential allies, establish your base, and rally your forces for the cause of justice. Experience the intuitive turn-based combat with enhanced features like one-button automation and faster battles. The Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is available for purchase now.

Digital Spotlight

March 10 is on the horizon, which means it’s time to get into the MAR10 spirit! Dive into a variety of games featuring Mario and his crew. Embark on a colorful quest in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door or explore the wonders of the Flower Kingdom in Super Mario Bros. Wonder with friends—whether locally or online. Hosting a bigger bash? Spice it up with Super Mario Party Jamboree, which includes a variety of modes like Koopathalon, where up to 20 players can compete in minigames. And don’t forget—you can enjoy a slew of classic titles like Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Bros. 3, and more with a Nintendo Switch Online or the Online + Expansion Pack membership!

Pre-orders

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 – Dust off those decks because the iconic skateboarding series is making a comeback, jam-packed with more skaters, new parks, and even crazier tricks and tunes! Reunite with your crew across new and classic game modes that support cross-platform online multiplayer for up to eight skaters. Carve up both new parks and legendary ones from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, all freshly remade with stunning HD visuals. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 launches on the Nintendo Switch on July 11, and pre-orders are now open on the Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo Music

Tones Across Time – Follow the hero’s path to the Triforce! The soundtrack from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is now up on Nintendo Music, the app for Nintendo’s soundtracks. Journey with Link across Hyrule Castle to Ganon’s Tower, capturing the essence of the Light and Dark Worlds. Remember, Nintendo Music is exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. For further details, visit Nintendo’s official site.
