Someone on the internet claimed, “that character everyone hated doesn’t last the first 20 minutes.” So, like, is it true? Who knows, but his no-show in the promos definitely raises eyebrows. Just to throw a twist, Johnny Cage is making an entrance. Karl Urban from The Boys is taking up the role, which sounds like a fun lineup change.
Now, here’s another curveball — even if Cole does bite the dust, he still might pop back up later. Mortal Kombat 2 is known to bring characters back from the dead. Go figure. Maybe that’s how they’ll rework Cole and give his character some depth. Hard to say, but wouldn’t it be wild?
