Noice, this live-streaming platform from Finland, is calling it quits. Yep, they’re shutting down. Saw it on LinkedIn—thanks to a GI.biz spot. CEO Tuomas Rinta spilled the beans to the crew earlier this week. Weird, huh? They raised a whopping $21 million in 2023 but still couldn’t snag more funds. Crazy times.
“So, no shocker for anyone on the team,” Rinta mentioned. “We’d been talking about the rough fundraising scene. Still, there was hope, you know? Maybe it’d flip and our tale would keep going.”
Rinta’s time at Noice? Short. Others? They’ve been at it for over five years, crafting something unique, bold—different even.
He added, “Yeah, lots of feels now—like being bummed, frustrated, maybe even scared. Losing a job these days? Yikes. But, here’s hoping we all feel some pride, once we step out of this gloomy patch and see what we actually pulled off.”
