Fans will be delighted to know that Donkey Kong is taking center stage with an exciting 3D platformer called Donkey Kong Bananza. Mark your calendars for its grand debut on July 17th, and if you’re eager to get your hands on it, you can pre-order now from major retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. GameStop is also joining the party, but their online pre-orders kick off at 11 a.m. EDT.
While Mario’s known for gobbling down mushrooms and leaping over turtles, Donkey Kong has his own style – he munches on bananas and smashes things. In Donkey Kong Bananza, you’ll experience plenty of platforming action, but the real thrill comes from DK’s impressive smashing abilities. Unlike humans, who just get a small energy boost from bananas, DK becomes a powerhouse. He can hurl boulders, break through walls, and unleash chaos in his path. In some parts of the game, you can even see him burrow through surfaces and tear apart the environment. It’s set to be a wild adventure full of action and destruction!
