This week, we delved into our Top Five Games of 2024.
For those not in the know, when RFN tackles this tradition, we don’t really stick to any strict rules. The main idea is that the games should be from 2024 and available on Nintendo platforms. But honestly, these aren’t hard and fast rules. Ideally, it should be a game you played during the year, yet there have been a few instances where even this was bypassed in special circumstances.
Because of the incredibly flexible nature of these guidelines, trying to agree on a collective Top Five would be a fool’s errand, so each list is very much a personal take.
Overlap does happen, of course. For instance, two lists ended up sharing the same game in the #1 position. I can assure you, guessing which game it is would be quite the challenge. Still, I expect someone to reach out claiming they saw it coming, but let’s be real—they’re probably fibbing.
