Sure thing, here you go:
So, here’s a quirky little tidbit I just can’t ignore, even if it’s basically pointless. But still, it bugs me that my pilot’s room in Mecha Break has no working sink. Yet… the toilet works.
Picture this: when you’re not smashing opponents in Mecha Break, you can wander around your dropship as your pilot. You can flop onto your bed, tinker on your computer, or, strangely enough, check out the bathroom amenities. There’s a fully-functional shower too! When you turn it on, it plays this super close-up cutscene of your pilot bathing. Yep, you can tell they’re nude, but you don’t really see much, thanks to the steamy privacy glass. Oddly artsy, right?
Then there’s the toilet scene. It’s more unsettling—just a tad. My pilot plops down on the throne, and the privacy glass goes up again. But here’s the kicker: she’s still in her bodysuit. What’s up with that? No zippers, no bum-flaps. It’s a mystery how she’s, well, doing her business. Unless she’s using some sci-fi suit tech, I guess her outfit’s a biohazard waiting to happen. Ew.
Then, there’s this strange saga with the sink. Spoiler: it doesn’t work. It pops in and out of the wall like a magic trick, but no water. None. Nada. No handwashing cutscene, just a useless fixture.
My pilot’s life is tough—piloting her Striker, Alysnes, and getting all gross in that cockpit. And after all that, she can’t even slip out of that suit to use the toilet properly. When she’s done, what’s she supposed to do, jump straight in the shower? How does anyone stop germs on this ship if they can’t wash hands? Maybe I’m overthinking it—but isn’t this a Space OSHA thing?
Come on, Mecha Break creators, help a pilot out. If she’s gotta do her thing in a skintight suit while I awkwardly watch, at least let her wash her hands after. It’s the least you can do, right?
