Even beloved titles such as “Sonic Colors” and the original “Sonic Generations” didn’t manage to hit such high numbers. Previously, “Sonic Heroes” held the sales crown, reaching 3.41 million by the end of 2007. With its current trajectory, “Sonic X Shadow Generations” may very well join the ranks of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed 3D Sonic games to date.
Interestingly, Sega Southeast Asia highlighted a Black Friday promotion where the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation versions of “Sonic X Shadow Generations” are down by 40%, just like other major titles such as “Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance” and “Metaphor: ReFantazio.” This means fans can snag the game for a cool $30, down from its usual $50. Given that it’s only been a month since launch, this is a steal.
