Black Friday Deal: Discount on Lego Mario Question Block Set at Amazon and Walmart

A few months back, Lego announced the discontinuation of their Super Mario 64 Question Block Model Set. However, if you missed out, there’s good news—this set is still available at several retailers. Even better, just in time for Black Friday 2024, both Amazon and Walmart have knocked down the price on this 2,064-piece set. Originally priced at $200, you can now grab it for just $180. Target’s stock has already vanished at this reduced rate, so if this set is on your wishlist, act fast.

The Lego Super Mario 64 Question Block Model Set, with its 2,064 pieces, takes the form of those unmistakable Question Mark blocks from the Super Mario series. Hidden within are detailed dioramas depicting scenes from Super Mario 64. Builders can recreate the game’s starting area, Peach’s Castle, along with fan-favorite levels like Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool Mountain, and Lethal Lava Trouble. The construction process itself is a delightful challenge that gamers and Lego enthusiasts alike will enjoy.

Alongside the block pieces, you’ll find microfigures of beloved characters such as Mario, Yoshi, Princess Peach, King Bob-omb, and Chain Chomp. Plus, this set is designed to work seamlessly with the interactive Lego Mario, Luigi, and Peach figures that were recently updated in August, making it an interactive as well as a display-worthy piece.

Turning to other Lego Nintendo sets, the Question Block stands out as one of just five non-playset offerings in the Lego Super Mario line. These sets, including the popular Lego Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), often become rare finds. Right now, the Lego NES is not only available but also discounted by $54 for Lego Insiders Weekend. To get this awesome deal, just sign up for a free rewards account. This particular build is perfect for pairs, as it comes with separate instructions for assembling the CRT TV and the console.

Lego’s latest Super Mario display set is a nostalgic treat for adults: a 1,215-piece pixel art model featuring Mario and Yoshi, themed around Super Mario World. Released in October, this set is available for $130. If you’re after a smaller and more budget-friendly building experience, consider the Piranha Plant set, on sale for just $48 at Amazon. This compact 540-piece model, complete with a Warp Pipe pot, promises an entertaining build.
