Before the official launch, the workstation PC builder Comino has already begun selling systems featuring NVIDIA’s impressive GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, which is certainly catching the attention of tech enthusiasts.

Comino Unveils High-End Workstation System Showcasing NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090, Featuring Up to 8 Units

With much excitement surrounding NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 50 "Blackwell" series, speculation points towards major performance breakthroughs thanks to innovative architectural changes. Although the lineup is not officially expected until 2025, Comino, a company specializing in liquid-cooled workstation setups, is already inviting orders for their "Grando Server." This advanced system includes eight GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs, marking the intriguing entry of NVIDIA’s next-gen flagship GPU into the marketplace.

To place a pre-order, Comino has provided an online form that requires filling out some basic information. As of now, specific system details remain under wraps, aside from the inclusion of the NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs. It’s worth noting that since the GPU’s official release is anticipated in Q1 2025, pre-ordering consumer GPUs at this stage may come with risks, raising some skepticism about the legitimacy. Hence, potential buyers should exercise caution before proceeding.

Comino’s decision to start taking pre-orders might be a strategy to gauge interest for their systems. As an "official" NVIDIA partner, Comino might enjoy some special benefits. However, it’s generally wise to wait until a product is officially released before making a purchase, ensuring that all specifications and details are confirmed.

Rumors about the GeForce RTX 5090 suggest it could boast cutting-edge features such as 32 GB of GDDR7 VRAM on a 512-bit interface and GPU speeds reaching 28 Gbps, resulting in a staggering 1792 GB/s bandwidth. This performance leap hints at truly astonishing capabilities for this graphics card. Additional rumors point to a TBP of up to 600W and the use of 12V-2×6 power connectors. For anyone curious, you can check out our comprehensive overview of the GeForce RTX 5090.

Since Comino has initiated pre-orders for an RTX 5090 workstation, we might see others in the industry following this lead, which signals how imminent the official release might be.
