Can’t believe it. Once Human is finally making its way to PlayStation and Xbox. Yeah, that’s right, come 2026, console folks can get in on what all the fuss has been about. It’s like this wild survival game—crazy popular on PC and mobile, thanks to folks at Starry Studio, owned by NetEase. I mean, who knew?
It first popped up on PC back in July 2024 and man, did people go nuts. Over 230K players on Steam at launch. It’s still a big deal alongside other hits like Marvel Rivals and Naraka: Bladepoint. They’ve been tossing out updates left and right, so it’s no wonder the game keeps pulling in more than 30K players every day. And now, with the console ports? Yeah, they’re pretty much a sure thing.
So, during their 2025 Global Annual Showcase on July 2 (mark your calendar), the devs spilled the beans on the PS5 and Xbox versions. Coming in 2026, but get this—they’re nearly done! Previews and tweaks are on the way. If you’re on console, go wishlist it already. They’re even giving out early-bird rewards. Sweet deal, right? And if you’re already on PC or mobile? No worries. Same account works across platforms. Though, you might have to wait a bit until the console versions catch up. They’re working on it.
Fast-forward to next year. New batch of console players diving in. After mobile folks got their shot in April, it’ll be interesting to see how console gamers respond. The mobile versions scored like 4.6 and 4.5 stars—talk about success, huh? Here’s hoping the console launch goes smoothly. Meanwhile, you can check out Version 2.0—it’s got a new class system, Dreamland events, and more stuff I’m probably forgetting.
Anyway, NetEase and Starry Studio seem to be on a roll. With this game spreading its wings to different platforms, who knows what’s next? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
