You know when you’re just lazing around, maybe sipping on some coffee, and you stumble across some news about Pokémon? Yeah, so that’s what happened. Apparently, there’s this thing called Pokémon Presents – they’re throwing one out there in July. July 22 to be exact, broadcasting right on their YouTube channel. Mark it down if you care, or don’t. I mean, who am I to tell you what to do?
Anyway — wait, what was I talking about? Oh right, Pokémon news! They’re saying it’s at 9 a.m. EDT. That’s early, isn’t it? Especially if you’re on the West Coast – 6 a.m.? Yikes. You might as well stay up all night. Not that I’m endorsing that or anything.
So, these folks, they haven’t spilled the beans on exactly what we’ll see. But if I had to guess (and yes, sometimes I do), Pokémon Legends: Z-A will probably pop up. It’s hitting the Switch on October 16th. Yes, NPCs, tedious fetch quests… it’s got everything! Oh, and it’s set in Lumiose City. If you’ve been around since X and Y days, you know what I’m talking about.
You know, The Pokémon Company, they love their surprises. Kind of feels like they’re teasing a little bit, dangling mystery in front of fans like a carrot on a string. Especially since Scarlet and Violet came out, what, nearly three years ago? Honestly, time flies. Like, where did those years even go? Anyway, stay tuned, I guess. Or maybe just catch it all later on social media. Somebody’s bound to break it down for you.
