Oh man, so here’s the deal. There’s this new engineering thing called Bridge Constructor Studio. Yeah, sounds all techy, right? But it’s actually kind of fun. It just dropped for PC VR, PlayStation VR, and that new PS VR2 thingy.
Anyway, ClockStone Studio (yeah, the folks behind LEGO Bricktales) made this game, and Headup published it. It first sneaked onto the Quest like a secret — think it was last December. Now it’s all like, “Hey, I’m everywhere!” Well, at least on all the big screen places, with VR if you’re feeling fancy. It’s the first time they’ve done the whole VR twist on this series, which, believe it or not, has been around since 2011. Crazy, right?
So, they give you this 70-puzzle quest (or campaign, if we’re being formal). Picture it like looking at one of those tiny toy towns — everything’s in 3D and you’re the master builder. You got vehicles doing their thing with different physics, and you can use wood, steel, or concrete, or whatever shabby thing stands in your way. No one’s telling you how much to spend, but keeping it cheap gets you brownie points or something.
You’re puzzling around in five biomes. What’s a biome? Basically, places with snow, canyons, or valleys. And vehicles — oh boy, they give you from trucks to pizza vans. Because pizza delivery just makes everything better, right? You also get five profile slots. You know, in case your buddy wants to mess with your work but you don’t want them wrecking what you’ve already struggled over.
Now you can get your hands on this construction chaos on Steam, GOG, EGS, PlayStation, and that Meta Quest platform everyone’s talking about. But the mixed reality magic only happens with Quest 3. I still don’t fully get what mixed reality even is, but hey, sounds futuristic.
